Posted January 15, 2019 09:09:56 It’s a great time of year for aviation enthusiasts.
There’s so much going on that it’s hard to pick out a specific day for an airplane’s next maintenance.
But a recent article in The Aviation Herald (the Australian version of National Geographic) gives us an early peek into what’s in store this winter.
For the uninitiated, the term “weather center” is used to refer to a facility that provides information about weather conditions and the status of aircraft in various regions of the world.
While there are many different weather centers around the world, Australia is no different.
The ABC understands that the Weather Centre is currently operating out of an airport in Melbourne, which is about 25 kilometres south of Brisbane, Australia’s capital city.
As part of the Weather Center’s mission, it’s monitoring a range of weather conditions, including those that are expected to hit the country’s south-east coast.
A weather center can also provide information about the status and impact of climate change.
However, the Weather Centres mission does not include weather forecasts.
And, as a result, it is unclear when the WeatherCentres website will open for business.
Despite the fact that it is a national asset, the ABC understands the weather center’s website will not be live for some time.
That is, until the summer, at least.
At the moment, the weather centers website is still available on a public forum.
“It’s going to be a little while before we can get it up and running,” said a spokesperson for the WeatherCenter.
