If you’ve ever wondered which airlines are hiring the most pilots, you can now have an answer thanks to Aviation Salary.
According to Aviation Salaries, the US airline industry employs nearly 1.5 million pilots, but the average pay for pilots varies significantly depending on location.
In most regions, pilots make around $60,000 a year, but they also make about $60k in some parts of the world.
The top earners in the US are New York’s John F. Kennedy, who earned $165,000, and Florida’s John Lear, who made $180,000.
However, in Europe, the pay for pilot salaries is a lot higher.
According the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, pilots earn around $100,000 in the United States, which is about $20,000 less than the average European pilot earns.
The highest paid pilots are from the UK, where John Lear made more than $300,000 per year, followed by France’s Alain Delon, who was paid $350,000 annually.
However in the UK pilots are not considered employees, so they don’t get the same benefits.
As an example, British Airways pilots earn about $130,000 and are not required to work for British Airways.
The best pilots in the world are not just in Europe.
In recent years, American Airlines has become the world’s biggest airline, with over 10,000 pilots.
The American crew of its Boeing 737-800 planes make about twice as much as the crew of the 737-300, which are also made by Boeing.
American has a reputation for being a “pay-to-play” airline, where pilots are paid much more than other employees, including bonuses.
The pilot pay at American is also far more competitive than other airlines.
While American Airlines pilots earn roughly the same as pilots at many other airlines, they make nearly twice as many dollars per flight, according to AviationSalaries.
American also has the lowest average pay among all US carriers, making about $28,000 for an American pilot.
However the airline pays its pilots a salary that is only slightly above the average for other US airlines.
Air Canada pilots make about the same amount as pilots in American, but only earn slightly more than pilots in other US carriers.
The lowest paid pilots at Air Canada are pilots from Nova Scotia, who make $25,000 to $40,000 each year.
In Canada, pilots work for Air Canada for a few months at a time, but are then let go for personal reasons.
The pilots then join the US Air Force.
